Ukraine is ready for negotiations regarding a bilateral or trilateral meeting
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this, reports ABC News.
The President of Ukraine spoke with ABC News chief international correspondent Marta Raddać.
In response to the question of whether the opportunity for a bilateral meeting with the Russian side has been lost, the head of state replied that negotiations remain possible.
He clarified that he is ready for any meeting — bilateral or trilateral — but not on Russian territory.
"This was a signal from the president and from President Trump, and I said: «Mr. President, I am ready for any meeting, but not in Russia. Any meeting, bilateral, trilateral, we will be glad if you are willing, and even the preliminary conditions we had at the beginning of the year, about a ceasefire, and then a meeting. Then we talked about security guarantees, and then about the meeting," — Zelensky noted.
