Ukraine has returned over 300 more people
Ukraine and the Russian Federation conducted the third stage of prisoner exchange in the "1000 for 1000" format. Today, more than 300 people were able to return.

"303 Ukrainian defenders at home. The third part of the exchange in the 1000 to 1000 format, which was agreed upon in Turkey, has been completed," - announced the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

RBC-Ukraine provides details of the final stage. This time among the released soldiers are representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the Naval Forces, Air Forces, Air Assault Forces, Territorial Defense Forces, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the State Special Transport Service. The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War clarified that all 303 released defenders today are men, members of the enlisted and non-commissioned ranks.

They defended Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv regions, as well as in Kherson, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.

Since March 2022, the Coordination Headquarters has liberated a total of 5,757 Ukrainian citizens. An additional 536 Ukrainians have been able to return outside of exchanges.
