Ukraine has returned 307 more military personnel from Russian captivity
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this on Telegram.
Among those who were able to be returned are soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, and the National Guard of Ukraine.
Zelensky added that the prisoner exchange process will continue on Sunday, May 25.
The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War clarified that prisoners were first released from certain units and military formations. The soldiers were performing tasks in the Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk directions. "In the current exchange, 27 defenders of Mariupol are returning to the homeland. All 307 liberated defenders are men, members of the enlisted and sergeant ranks," the statement said.
