Ukraine and Russia conducted the second stage of a large-scale prisoner exchange

«We continue the return of our people, as agreed in Istanbul. Today is the first stage of returning our severely wounded and wounded soldiers from Russian captivity. All of them require immediate medical assistance. This is an important humanitarian act», – wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a Telegram message.

According to him, military personnel from various branches of the Defense and Security Forces have returned to Ukraine: the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the State Special Transport Service.
