Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners of war
A group of Defenders from the categories "wounded and seriously ill" as well as "under 25 years old" has been returned from Russian captivity.

This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.

As stated, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have returned home, including representatives of the Naval Forces, Ground Forces, Territorial Defense, DShV, Special Operations Forces, as well as the National Guard of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, and the State Special Transport Service.

It is reported that the youngest released Defender was only 20 years old. The oldest is 59 years old. In addition to soldiers and sergeants, officers were also released. Among those liberated today are again the Defenders of Mariupol, who have been held in captivity since 2022. The vast majority of those released had been in captivity for over 3 years.
