Ukraine successfully used "Long Neptune" against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, - Zelensky
During the night of November 14, Ukraine attacked important facilities on Russian territory. Long Neptune missiles were used for the strikes.

This is stated in the statement of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky Telegram.

The President said that he listened to the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and several reports from Air Force Commander Kryvonozhko.

"Our Patriot systems and some others worked. During this night, 14 Russian missiles were neutralized, including two aerobalistic and six ballistic. We will continue to strengthen this component of the air defense system with systems capable of shooting down ballistic missiles," - Zelensky noted.

He also instructed Ukrainian diplomats to inform partners as much as possible about Russian attacks, their nature, and the targeted objectives.

According to the president, the key targets of Russia this night were residential areas of Kyiv and energy infrastructure facilities.

Additionally, Zelensky reported that Ukrainian military successfully used "Long Neptune" against designated targets on Russian territory.

"This is our entirely justified response to ongoing Russian terror. Ukrainian missiles monthly deliver tangible and precise results," - the president emphasized.

He thanked everyone working on Ukraine's missile program for accuracy and long-range capability.

Long Neptune

"Long Neptune" (Neptune-MD) is a modified version of the Ukrainian anti-ship cruise missile R-360 "Neptune," which has also been improved for striking targets at greater distances.

This complex was developed by the "Luch" design bureau for attacking enemy combat ships.
