Ukrainian forces have liberated the center of Pokrovsk: Russians are losing positions
Ukrainian soldiers are holding positions and conducting clearance operations in the central districts of Pokrovsk, stopping the Russians' attempts to consolidate and increase their forces.

Ukrainian defense forces continue to control the center of Pokrovsk and conduct active search-and-strike operations against Russian units. As reported by ThePublic.info citing Telegram of the 7th Assault Landing Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, firefights are ongoing, but the enemy is unable to hold any positions.

Units from various brigades involved in assault operations within the responsibility zone of the 7th Assault Landing Corps. In particular, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skala” carried out a clearance operation around the railway station, pedagogical college, and Soborny Park.

Thanks to this, attempts by the enemy to gather forces and increase pressure on the northern districts of the city have been blocked. According to military sources, each attempt to cross the railway part of Pokrovsk results in significant losses for the Russians.

Since the beginning of November, Ukrainian units have eliminated 388 occupiers, with another 87 wounded.

Situation around Pokrovsk

The Pokrovsk direction remains one of the hottest in Donetsk region. Russian troops are trying to encircle the city from several directions and are deploying additional forces. The enemy used dense fog to penetrate the city — estimates suggest that there are over 300 Russians there.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting counteroffensive actions. Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi emphasized that there is no question of the Russians controlling Pokrovsk or of the Ukrainian forces being encircled operationally.

Earlier, the Air Assault Forces reported attempts by the enemy to bypass Pokrovsk and reach the village of Hryshyne. However, the invaders are unable to break through the city’s defenses, and their reserves are gradually running out.
