Ukraine is developing new attack drones to strengthen its advantage at the front
Ukraine is preparing to introduce new types of unmanned systems that can significantly enhance the capabilities of the Defence Forces. This includes the creation of domestic analogues of the Russian Molniya drone, as well as the large-scale use of drones controlled via fibre-optic communication.
This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov during his speech in the Verkhovna Rada. According to him, the decision on the urgent introduction of such technologies was made at the level of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, and now it is moving into the practical phase of implementation.
Fedorov stressed that the new drones should significantly increase the depth of damage to enemy positions and at the same time improve the logistics of supplying Ukrainian units. According to him, Ukraine already has a sufficient number of manufacturers ready to develop and supply such drones for the needs of the army.
The government pays special attention to drones with fibre-optic control. This technology makes them resistant to enemy electronic warfare and ensures stable and high-quality image transmission until the target is hit.
