The ‘Minute of Silence’ app is now available to download from the App Store and Google Play. The app alerts users when the nationwide minute’s silence begins.

This was announced by the app’s developer, soldier Bohdan Hdal.

Initially, the app was only available to Android users, but it can now be downloaded from the iOS App Store. The app sends notifications when a minute’s silence is announced.

The developer adds that the app allows users to select different notification sounds and the days on which notifications will be sent to their phone. Additionally, the app pauses music. The start of the minute’s silence is announced by Andriy Sereda, frontman of the rock band ‘Komu Vnyz’.

As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously signed a law establishing a daily nationwide minute’s silence. It is to be observed daily at 9 am.
