On the night of Saturday, July 12, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 597 drones and 26 missiles. Air defense eliminated 344 targets.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, responded to the attack on Telegram. He stated that last night, Russia struck from Kharkiv and Sumy regions to Lviv and Chernivtsi.

«Unfortunately, there were hits on civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings. As of now, there are 2 confirmed deaths in Chernivtsi. My condolences to the families and loved ones. About 20 more injured people as a result of the shelling are receiving all necessary assistance,» he noted.

On the night of Saturday, July 12, Russian forces carried out the most massive drone attack on Lviv, affecting 6 people, with damages. Additionally, the occupiers launched a missile-drone strike on Chernivtsi, resulting in 2 deaths. Lviv also came under a combined attack.
