Total combat losses suffered by the Russian army since the start of the war against Ukraine have exceeded 1.32 million troops
Total combat losses among Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from 24 February 2022 to 24 April 2026, amount to approximately 1,323,460 personnel. Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has lost a further 910 troops.
Furthermore, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost 11,892 tanks, including 4 over the past 24 hours, 24,445 armoured fighting vehicles, including 4 over the past 24 hours, and 40,606 artillery systems, including 32 over the past 24 hours.
Russia’s losses also include 1,753 multiple launch rocket systems, including 1 over the past 24 hours, 1,353 air defence systems, including 2 in the last 24 hours, 435 aircraft, 350 helicopters, 254,605 tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles, including 1,175 in the last 24 hours, and 4,549 cruise missiles.
In addition, the Russian army has lost 33 ships and boats, 2 submarines, 91,256 vehicles and tankers, including 129 in the last 24 hours, as well as 4,134 units of specialist equipment.
