Zelenskyy visits Kupyansk and announces success of Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area
The President of Ukraine arrived at the Kupyansk direction, where Ukrainian forces surrounded Russian units, and stressed that victories on the frontline strengthen the country's diplomatic position
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Kupyansk, where active hostilities are ongoing and Russian troops are surrounded by the defence forces. He recorded an address near the dilapidated stele of the city, thanked the military for their work and emphasised the importance of daily results at the front.
The Head of State noted that the success of the defence forces determines Ukraine's strength in international negotiations. In his address, he thanked each unit that holds the defence and all those who destroy the occupiers in the Kupiansk sector.
Zelenskyy also congratulated the soldiers on the Day of the Land Forces, which is celebrated on 12 December, and stressed that he was proud of the courage of Ukrainian soldiers.
