Zelenskyy has commented on the drone attack on the Moscow region
The head of state posted a related message on his social media accounts.
Zelenskyy mentioned “far-reaching sanctions”
According to the president, the attack was a response to Russia’s actions and attempts to drag out the war.
“Our responses to Russia’s attempts to drag out the war and its strikes on our cities and communities are entirely justified,” Zelenskyy said.
The president also noted that this time “Ukrainian long-range sanctions” had reached the Moscow region.
“We are making it clear to the Russians: their state must end its war,” the head of state emphasised.
The President thanked the SBU and the Defence Forces
Zelenskyy reported that Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers are continuing to work on developing long-range capabilities. He thanked the SBU and the Ukrainian Defence Forces for their “accuracy”. The President also highlighted that the distance to targets in the Moscow region exceeds 500 kilometres, despite the high concentration of Russian air defences.
“The concentration of Russian air defences in the Moscow region is the highest. But we are overcoming it,” Zelenskyy wrote.
