After the large-scale night attack, a significant part of Kyiv was left without power supply. However, power in Kyiv will be restored very soon. This is stated in a statement by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

This morning, Svyrydenko held a meeting with key ministries, state energy companies, and all responsible for the recovery works.

According to her, recovery works have begun in all regions after air raid alerts were lifted, repair crews are working. All necessary services have been involved for this.

"Russia has delivered another vile blow specifically against civilian infrastructure, against people's lives and communities. It was one of the largest concentrated strikes against energy facilities, a combined strike, with a significant part of the missiles being ballistic. Unfortunately, there are substantial damages to the energy infrastructure," - explained the Prime Minister.

Svyrydenko reported that in Kyiv and Kirovohrad regions, we expect full water supply restoration by the end of the day.

"Regarding power supply in the capital – critical infrastructure has already been energized. Further work is ongoing. In a few hours, the Ministry of Energy will provide an update on the situation," - she added.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that in Kyiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions, emergency power outage schedules and special schedules are currently in effect, which will be separately announced by the Ministry of Energy and Ukrenergo.
