On Monday, 20 April, an explosion occurred at a factory near Rivne, leaving eight people injured, one of whom is in a serious condition.

According to law enforcement officials, the explosion occurred at around 13:00 on the premises of a company whose activities are not related to chemical production. A fire then broke out, but has since been extinguished.
