Bolt and Uklon switch to round-the-clock operation in Kyiv
From 17 January, the Uklon and Bolt taxi services will operate around the clock in Kyiv. This decision was made in agreement with the city authorities in connection with the emergency situation in the energy sector.
At night, drivers will be allowed to transport passengers to shelters, warming centres, and medical facilities. Kyiv residents will also be able to order food, medicine, and other necessary items even during curfew hours.
Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba announced that additional easing of the curfew is planned in the capital in the near future. In particular, private transport will be allowed to travel to safe shelters without special passes.
As The Public reported earlier, the easing of restrictions is also planned for areas in the energy emergency zone. In such areas, citizens will be allowed to stay on the streets and in public places that function as points of resilience or heating. Specific locations will be determined by the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies.
