Consumers are without power in several regions due to Russian shelling
This is reported by ThePublic.info, citing the page of NEC "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.
"As a result of Russian strikes on energy facilities - by morning, consumers in several regions are without power. Emergency repair work is ongoing in all regions where networks have been damaged. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore stable power supply for all consumers as quickly as possible," the message states.
Ukrenergo reminds that due to the consequences of previous shelling, in several regions, hourly outage schedules with 1 to 2 shifts are forcibly implemented from 08:00 to 22:00. Additionally, in the same regions where hourly outage schedules are in effect, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers are applied from 07:00 to 22:00.
Electricity consumption as of 6:30 Tuesday exceeded the previous day's figures by 1.8%. The reason for this is cloudy weather in most regions, which causes low efficiency of household solar power plants.
"Today, there remains a need for careful electricity consumption. If you have power now, please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances until 22:00," emphasize Ukrenergo.
