Investigative actions in the suburbs of Nice are related to the investigation of the case of Ihor Kolomoisky on attempted murder in 2003

The State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches in France at the villa of former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Svyatoslav Piskun. This was reported by ZN.UA with reference to sources in the investigative bodies.

According to the publication, the investigative actions took place as part of the investigation into the case of businessman Igor Kolomoisky, who is suspected of organising the attempted murder of lawyer Serhiy Karpenko in 2003. Piskun himself, according to sources, is suspected of receiving an undue benefit for closing this case in the past.

The searches at Piskun's villa in the suburbs of Nice, where he lives with his family, took place on 16 December. The next day, investigators conducted actions at the notary who formalised the purchase of this property.

According to ZN.UA, a number of documents were found during the searches in the former Prosecutor General's house, which the investigation calls interesting, but they are not directly related to the Kolomoisky case.
