Head of the Anti-Corruption Center Shabunin received suspicion
Law enforcement officers accuse Vitaliy Shabunin of evading military service and fraud.
According to the investigation, after mobilizing in 2022, the activist did not appear at the service location for an extended period and, under the guise of "business trips," was in civilian institutions that are not part of the defense forces. However, he received 50,000 UAH in "military" salary every month.
Additionally, Shabunin allegedly illegally used an SUV for personal matters, imported into Ukraine as humanitarian aid for the needs of the army.
He currently faces up to 10 years of imprisonment.
