In Kyiv, a woman fired a gun at a man because he had told her off for being 'too loud'
Law enforcement officers have charged a woman with allegedly firing a pistol at a resident of her building. According to the investigation, he had decided to reprimand the group the woman was with for being too noisy.

This has been reported by the Kyiv police.

The injured 27-year-old man was found in a flat on Akademika Korolyova Avenue in the Svyatoshynskyi district. He was hospitalised with injuries to his arm and abdomen.

According to law enforcement officials, the victim had complained to a group of men and women who were relaxing near his home about their noisy behaviour. During the altercation, one of the women produced a pistol and fired several shots, after which she allegedly fled the scene.

Shortly afterwards, a 43-year-old local woman was detained. During a search, a pistol and ammunition were seized from her, which are currently undergoing forensic examination.

The woman has been charged under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — hooliganism committed with the use of a weapon. She faces up to seven years’ imprisonment.
