Контрактниця Нацгвардії отримала довічне за шпигунство на гру рф
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine, a Russian military intelligence agent was sentenced to life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
The convicted person was a contract soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine who, according to the investigation, was recruited by the enemy to spy on Ukrainian defenders in the Kharkiv region.
The SBU stated that the woman, while working as a radio telegraph operator at a communications centre, transmitted decrypted air defence combat control signals to the Russian side.
According to the investigation, the occupiers planned to use this intelligence to identify "blind" zones of Ukrainian radar stations in order to prepare new strikes on Kharkiv.
In addition, according to the SBU, the convicted woman walked around the city to identify and mark on Google Maps the locations of other Defence Forces units that the enemy was preparing to shell.
She also tried to covertly extract additional information about the coordinates of Ukrainian military personnel from her acquaintances in the military.
SBU officers detained her in September 2024 at the initial stage of her agent activity.
The special service noted that measures had been taken to secure the locations of Ukrainian defenders in the area of enemy reconnaissance activity.
During searches, a smartphone with evidence of working for the enemy was seized from the detainee.
According to the investigation, pro-Kremlin posts justifying the temporary occupation of Crimea and part of the Donbas region were also found on her gadget.
The court found the woman guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
These are Part 2 of Article 111 - high treason committed under martial law.
She was also charged under Part 1 of Article 436-2 - justifying the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine.
The investigation into the case was conducted by SBU officers in the Kharkiv region under the procedural guidance of the Specialised Prosecutor's Office for the Eastern Region.
