The Ministry of Defence of Finland accidentally revealed secret information
in the photo: Yle Editorial Office received a document upon request, in which some information was shaded, but this data was easily recoverable (Yle).
The document was classified as a "restricted use" document. According to the law, disclosing information from such documents may cause only minor harm.

About this is written by ThePublic.info, citing Yle.

It concerns a document that was in the possession of the Yle editorial office upon request. Part of the information in it was shaded, but this data could be easily restored.

"Unfortunately, a human error occurred during the processing of the document. The confidential section of this document was blacked out, as it should have been, but not strongly enough. This should not happen," – responded the Director of Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Defense, Antti Korkala.

Yle does not disclose the content of the shaded phrase, as this information is not of significant public interest. The ministry emphasizes that they will take the mistake seriously.

According to Korkala, the information was encrypted for technical reasons related to procurement and tenders.

"The sentence in question contains information whose premature publication could hinder fair competition in defense procurement," - says Korkala.
