85 Combat Clashes in a Day on the Front: The Hottest Spot — Near Pokrovsk
As ThePublic.info reports, citing the operational update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Sunday, November 30, a total of 85 combat engagements have occurred since the start of the day between Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian troops. Active fighting continues on four sectors of the front, with the most intense pressure observed in the Pokrovsk area.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out five airstrikes, dropping 16 guided bombs, and conducted 92 shelling attacks, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky sector, one attack was recorded near Vovchansk, while no offensive actions were noted in the Kupiansk sector.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy launched nine assaults in the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Novoiehorivka, Torske, Novoselivka, Zarichne, as well as in the direction of Cherneshchyna and Korovyi Yar. Five combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defence Forces repelled five out of six attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Serebrianka, Siversk, and Dronivka. One battle remains unresolved.
No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, multiple enemy assaults were reported in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Rusynyi Yar, Pleshchiivka, and Shcherbynivka. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 11 attacks.
The Hottest Sector — Pokrovsk
The Russian army carried out 44 attacks in the areas of Pokrovsk, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Lysivka, Udachne, Molodetske, and Filiia, as well as toward Novyi Shakhovyi, Toretske, Serhiivka, Novopavlivka, and Bilytske. Four battles are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 assaults in the areas of Tolste, Pryvilne, Zelenyi Hai, Sosnivka, Stepove, Zlahoda, Vyshneve, and Rybne. Three engagements continue. In the Huliaipole sector, one combat clash was recorded, and the enemy also carried out an airstrike on Huliaipole.
No attacks were recorded in the Orikhiv sector, and in the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy twice unsuccessfully tried to advance toward the Antonivskyi bridge.
According to Viktor Trehubov, head of the communications department of the Joint Forces grouping, Russian troops are attempting to advance in and around Vovchansk, actively taking advantage of the weather conditions.
