In the town of Irpin, a father shot his daughter and then took his own life
In Irpin, in the Kyiv region, the bodies of a man and his 11-year-old daughter were discovered in a private house by the deceased’s sister. She was the one who called the police.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Police.

According to preliminary findings by investigators, the 52-year-old man is believed to have killed his child with a gunshot to the head and then taken his own life.

It is known that the girl was ill.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent for forensic examination to establish the exact cause of death.

Law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation.
