Ukrainian kickboxing champion Dmytro Rusetskyi dies in Sumy region

On 15 February, during a combat mission near Pysarivka in the Sumy region, soldier, athlete and coach Dmytro Rusetskyi was killed.

This was reported by The Public with reference to the Instagram account of Olga Pavlenko, president of the Ukrainian Kickboxing Federation.

Dmytro Rusetskyi was the Ukrainian kickboxing champion, a World and European Cup medallist, and held the title of international master of sports in WAKO kickboxing. In civilian life, he worked as a coach and trained young athletes.

 

The Ukrainian Kickboxing Federation noted that he dedicated his life to developing young people and training champions, and was also a courageous defender of Ukraine. The federation expressed its condolences to the parents, relatives and friends of the deceased.
