MP Oleksandr Fedienko spread information about a massive leak from "Diia"
The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has refuted the information.

No personal data leaks of Ukrainians from "Diia" have occurred, assures the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

"After information about a possible 'leak,' our team conducted an investigation and established: the distributed files are falsified and do not originate from the Diia systems and are not the result of their hacking or leak. Specifically, the published files are a mixture of previously known 'leaks' from commercial sources, manually edited and supplemented with fake records to make them look like a 'fresh' database. This is a typical practice of the black market: old leaks are 'refreshed' with fake records to present them as a new mass leak and to mislead people," - it is stated in the statement.

"Once again, we emphasize that Diia does not store personal data — the system operates on the principle of data-in-transit: information is pulled from state registers at the moment of request and is not accumulated in the application or on the portal. To confirm this — in March 2024, the code of Diia was published. It is available in open access, and anyone can verify that there are no hidden databases with citizens' data," - explained the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
