Bad weather hits Ukraine: 9 regions at risk (map)
An elevated danger level has been declared in a number of regions across Ukraine for Friday, 24 April.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre has issued a warning.
"On the afternoon of 24 April, in the Carpathian region, the eastern regions, and the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, there will be gusts of wind of 15–20 m/s," forecasters predict.
A danger level has been declared in the following regions:
- Lviv;
- Ternopil;
- Ivano-Frankivsk;
- Chernivtsi;
- Kharkiv;
- Luhansk;
- Donetsk;
- Dnipropetrovsk;
- Zaporizhzhia.
