Peter Magyar will make his first overseas visit as Prime Minister to Poland
Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar is to pay an official visit to Poland this week. This will be his first trip abroad as head of the Hungarian government, according to Polskieradio.
During the visit, Magyar will visit Kraków, Warsaw and Gdańsk. Meetings with the Polish Prime Minister and President are also scheduled.
Katarzyna Lubnauer, an MP from the Civic Coalition, stated that Péter Magyar attaches great importance to Polish-Hungarian relations and considers them a key area of cooperation.
Barbara Soha, an adviser to the President of Poland, reported that Karol Nawrocki plans to discuss with the Hungarian Prime Minister issues of mutual interest to both countries.
According to her, Poland remains a friend of Hungary, and good bilateral relations are one of the Polish side’s priorities.
During a pre-election speech, Péter Magyar also announced an upcoming visit to Poland.
It is reported that the Hungarian Prime Minister will arrive in Poland accompanied by a delegation of seven ministers.
