Under attack - five regions. The Ministry of Energy reports on the situation with electricity
Russian troops attacked energy facilities in five regions during the night. Repair and restoration work is ongoing at the damaged infrastructure sites. This information is reported in the Ministry of Energy's Telegram channel.
"The enemy attacked the energy infrastructure of Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Odesa, and Donetsk regions. Repair and restoration work is underway at the damaged energy infrastructure sites," - stated the Ministry of Energy.
It is noted that today, November 17, the schedules for hourly outages and power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses are in effect from 00:00 to 23:59 in most regions of Ukraine.
According to the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army launched two ballistic missiles "Iskander-M" from the Rostov region overnight across Ukraine. Additionally, 128 strike drones of types "Shahed," "Gerbera," and other modifications were launched from directions including Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian troops attacked energy and port infrastructure in several cities of Odesa region during the night. As a result of the shelling, several vessels were damaged, and there is one injured person.
We also reported that Russians attacked Balakliya in Kharkiv region during the night with a missile strike on Balakliya, Kharkiv region. The missile strike resulted in casualties and injuries.
