A man raped and strangled a 7-year-old girl in Odessa

He was informed of suspicion of intentional murder of a minor child.

In the courtroom, the suspect admitted his guilt and expressed a desire to go serve: "I deeply regret. I would give my life at the front to wash away this filth."

The suspect was chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention center for 60 days without the right to bail.

Recall, on the evening of June 18, a seven-year-old Solomiya Tarasyuk disappeared in Odesa region. The girl left home, taking a scooter with her, but did not return. In the evening of the next day, police found the child's body.

According to suspicion of the murder of the schoolgirl, a 31-year-old man who lived near Solomiya's family was detained. According to law enforcement, the girl knew the neighbor, so she went to his house, where she was murdered.
