The railway explosion in Poland is being investigated as a sabotage in the interest of foreign intelligence
Following a series of incidents on the railway in Poland, the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into acts of sabotage of a terrorist nature, committed in the interests of foreign intelligence, reports "European Truth".
Prosecutor Novak of the Masovian Department for Organized Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw initiated an investigation on November 17 into acts of sabotage of a terrorist nature aimed at railway infrastructure, carried out in favor of foreign intelligence against the Republic of Poland.
The investigation concerns damage caused between November 15 and 17 to infrastructure of railway line No. 7 on the Warsaw East-Dorogusk route, including damage to tracks near the village of Mika and damage to tracks near the village of Golomb using explosive substances.
As the spokesperson noted, these actions posed an immediate danger of a land transport catastrophe, threatening the lives and health of many people, as well as property on a large scale.
The proceedings were initiated on suspicion of a crime punishable by life imprisonment.
It should be noted that the Warsaw-Lublin railway segment, which was affected by the sabotage, has strategic importance for aid to Ukraine.
