Large-scale explosion near Zhytomyr (video)
This was reported by the police of Zhytomyr region. The explosion occurred around 6:00 PM near the village of Berezina.
“Currently, specialists from the State Emergency Service, investigative and operational groups of the National Police in Zhytomyr region, and police officers from Department No. 1 of Zhytomyr district are working at the scene,” the police report states.
Locals are posting videos from the scene, showing many smashed and burning cars.
He reported that 20 ambulances are working at the scene of the explosion.
“Cars are burning, residential buildings are affected, and people are injured — it is known that an industrial warehouse in the village of Berezina in Zhytomyr region exploded,” Serhii Sokaletskyi noted.
The Zhytomyr Control Center reported air pollution and urged residents of the region to limit outdoor activities.
