The weather in Ukraine is set to deteriorate further: forecasters have issued a warning about the dangers on 24 April
Weather on 24 April
On Friday, 24 April, the weather in Ukraine will be windy, but there will be less rainfall. Rain is expected only in some regions, and temperatures will remain low.

This has been reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko and the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre.

Weather in Ukraine

According to Didenko, the wind on this day will be north-westerly, reaching gusts of 7–14 metres per second, and in some places storm-force gusts of 15–20 metres per second.

“Be careful near billboards and old trees,” she advised.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre warns of a new influx of cold air from northern Europe.

According to the forecast, it will be cloudy with sunny spells across the country today. In the east, at night and in the south-east, as well as in the Sumy region, light rain is possible, with sleet in places. Elsewhere, there will be no significant precipitation.

Air temperatures remain low: at night - 2–6 degrees above zero, with clear spells and frost in places; during the day - 6–12 degrees above zero.

Weather in Kyiv

No precipitation is expected in the capital today, but a strong north-westerly wind will persist. Frosts are possible at night, whilst daytime temperatures will be around +8–9 degrees.

Forecasters note that no significant warming is forecast in the near future.
