On 27 February, weather conditions in Ukraine will be determined by the Heiko anticyclone. Dry and cool weather is expected.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, according to Komersant Ukrainian.

According to the forecaster, coastal areas of Europe will be affected by Cyclone Chiara, located off Scandinavia, while most of the continent, including Ukraine, will be in the zone of influence of Anticyclone Heiko.

The anticyclone will bring dry and cool air masses.

The air temperature in Ukraine at night will range from -2° to -8°, in the Carpathians — up to -12°. During the day, it is expected to range from -2° to +3°, in the south and west — from +2° to +8°.

Variable cloudiness is forecast. Precipitation is unlikely. In Crimea, light wet snow and rain are possible at night due to the passage of an atmospheric front.

In the northern regions, fog is possible at night and in the morning. On the roads, except for the south and Transcarpathia, icy conditions are expected in some places.

The wind will be mainly south-easterly, in the eastern and southern regions — northerly, with a speed of 5–10 m/s.

Ukraine may begin a gradual increase in gas and electricity tariffs for households as early as 2027. This scenario is set out in the updated Memorandum on Economic and Financial Policies, which the Ukrainian authorities have agreed with the IMF. However, no final decision has yet been made – the document itself does not imply an automatic increase in tariffs.
