Ozzy Osbourne has died – legendary heavy metal star
Ozzy Osbourne became a legend of heavy metal, initially as the vocalist of Black Sabbath, and later as a successful solo artist.
Throughout his career, Osbourne won five Grammy awards, was inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — as a member of Black Sabbath and as a solo performer. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and in his hometown of Birmingham.
Ozzy left behind his wife Sharon, children — Amy, Kelly, and Jack, as well as two older children from his first marriage — Jessica and Louis. He also has grandchildren.
The last years have been difficult. Ozzy suffered from Parkinson's disease, and after a fall in 2019, his condition significantly worsened. Because of this, he was forced to cancel tours, but he unexpectedly took the stage during the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in 2022, and in July 2025 — gathered thousands of fans at his final concert.
