Border guards in the Kharkiv region rescued a roe deer from an anti-drone net
This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the RUBpAK “STRIKS” on Telegram.
In the Kharkiv region, border guards rescued a roe deer that had become entangled in an anti-drone net.
The animal was spotted by soldiers from the “STRIKS” Special Forces Unit of the 4th Border Guard Detachment whilst carrying out a combat mission in one of the sectors.
According to the soldiers, the roe deer was frightened and unable to free itself from the net.
The soldiers carefully freed the animal from the trap so as not to injure it.
“The animal was helpless and couldn’t free itself. By carefully freeing the forest visitor from the trap, our soldiers gave it a second chance,” noted “STRIKS”.
After being rescued, the roe deer, although still frightened, returned to the forest unharmed.
The State Border Guard Service emphasised that even during wartime, life remains the highest value.
“Even in the midst of war, life remains the highest value,” the State Border Guard Service stated.
The border guards also added that even in the hardest of times, it is important to remain human.
“Even in the hardest of times, we remain human, because it is for life that we are fighting,” the military noted.
As reported by ThePublic, Olen Boris, who was hit by a female driver in Rivne region in March, has been involved in another road accident. This time, the car in which he was being transported for rehabilitation was hit by another vehicle.
