The ‘Everything for the Armed Forces’ section has disappeared from Wildberries: what has changed following the attacks on the warehouses

The Russian marketplace Wildberries has removed the ‘Everything for the Armed Forces’ tag from its website, which had previously been used to find over 200,000 military-related products. The changes came following a series of strikes on the company’s logistics centres. The products themselves have not been taken off sale — they have simply been moved to other categories

This is reported by Informator.ua, citing The Moscow Times.

Military goods remain on sale

Now, when searching for ‘Everything for the Defence’, users see a message stating that the items are out of stock. However, military-grade products can still be found under other categories and via other search queries.

In particular, body armour and protective helmets are listed in the ‘Sport’ section, whilst FPV drones and accessories are in the ‘TV, audio, photography and video equipment’ category. In addition, searches for “SVO goods” or “SVO kit” yield military first-aid kits, walkie-talkies, rucksacks, insignia and flags.

What is known about the attacks on Wildberries’ warehouses

According to the publication, at least ten Wildberries logistics centres have been attacked since mid-July. These include warehouses in Elektrostal, Kotovsk, Kaledino, Krasnodar, Nevinnomyssk, Voronezh, St Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and the temporarily occupied Simferopol.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously stated that these logistics facilities were being used to supply the Russian army with drone components, navigation equipment and gear.

Following the attacks, Wildberries founder Tatiana Kim described the strikes on the warehouses as “an act of international terrorism”. According to The Moscow Times, Russia’s Investigative Committee also made a similar assessment.
