From 20:00 on October 5, the enemy attacked with 116 strike drones of the "Shahed", "Heron" types, and other unmanned aerial vehicles.
The enemy targets were launched from directions: Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Gvardeysk. The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 09:00 on Monday, October 6, 83 enemy drones of the "Shahed", "Heron" types, and other drones have been shot down or suppressed in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
30 strike drones were recorded hitting 7 locations. However, the enemy attack continues, with several enemy drones in the airspace.
Last night, Russian invaders attacked Kharkiv with strike drones. Fires broke out in the city, damaging residential infrastructure and causing casualties, reports State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that as a result of the attack in the Novobavarsky district of Kharkiv, fires and destruction occurred at one of the facilities, and a car was on fire in Shevchenkivskyi.
"In addition, private residential buildings, warehouse buildings, garages, and passenger cars were damaged. According to preliminary data, 4 people were injured," the report states.
They also attacked energy facilities in the Chernihiv region. This time in the Ichnya community. According to the regional energy company, during the strike, Russia's attack was recorded hitting an energy facility, reports "Chernihivoblenergo".
"Energy workers have already begun restoration work, but it will be carried out considering the security situation. So we ask for patience — we are doing everything possible for the quickest restoration of power supply," the statement says.
The Russians once again attacked Odessa region with strike drones of the "Shahed" type. There was a hit on an industrial facility and a fire broke out, reports Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleg Kiper.
The invaders also attacked Donetsk region — as a result of the strike, a "Nova Poshta" branch was hit. This was reported by the official Telegram channel of the company. The company clarified that at the time of the hit, the branch was closed, so none of the employees were injured.
