A Russian drone attacked the home of Beskrestnov, an adviser to the Minister of Defence; he has been injured

On the afternoon of 26 July, Russian troops attacked Chernihiv. One of the enemy strikes hit the ATB supermarket. Two people were killed in the attack, including a 10-year-old child. Four more people were injured, and one person is in a serious condition.

The Israeli military carried out an air strike on a vehicle in the town of Deir al-Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip. According to Palestinian sources, the attack killed two senior officials from the internal security service, which is controlled by Hamas.

The Russian marketplace Wildberries has removed the ‘Everything for the Armed Forces’ tag from its website, which had previously been used to find over 200,000 military-related products. The changes came following a series of strikes on the company’s logistics centres. The products themselves have not been taken off sale — they have simply been moved to other categories

On the afternoon of 26 July, Russian forces carried out a strike on Zaporizhzhia using guided aerial bombs. A 46-year-old man was killed in the attack, and at least six other people were injured. A petrol station, some warehouses, a residential building and an educational establishment were also damaged.

British intelligence believes that the Kremlin may resort to a direct provocation against NATO in the coming months.
