Russia attacked several regions of Ukraine during the night of 4 June; there are reports of deaths and injuries

During the night of 3–4 June, Russian forces launched strikes on a number of regions in Ukraine. The attacks have resulted in casualties and caused damage to residential buildings, infrastructure and businesses.

Kyiv Region

In the Boryspil district, an employee of an industrial facility was injured as a result of a Russian attack. According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, the injured petrol tanker driver was hospitalised with a closed fracture of the ankle joint.

Russian forces attacked an industrial facility in the Boryspil district. A fire broke out at the site, and efforts to extinguish it are ongoing. All emergency services are involved in the operation.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Since the evening, Russian troops have attacked five districts of the region more than 20 times using drones, artillery and aerial bombs.

In Pavlohrad, an apartment block and cars were damaged. A 45-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman were injured. In the Yurivka community, infrastructure and a private house were damaged.

In the Dnipro district, Dnipro and the Pidhorodne community came under attack. Fires broke out there. Rescue workers are also continuing to extinguish fires in storage facilities following earlier shelling.

In the Synelnykivka district, apartment blocks, a private home and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Fires broke out in Kryvyi Rih and the Apostolivska community as a result of the shelling.

The Nikopol district has come under attack in Nikopol, the Chervonohryhorivska, Marganetska and Pokrovska communities.

Odesa region

On the night of 4 June, Russian strike drones attacked the Odesa region. A critical infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of the strike.

A warehouse and equipment were also damaged. The fire that broke out after the attack was quickly extinguished by emergency services. There were no casualties.

Kherson region

Over the past 24 hours, six people have been killed as a result of Russian attacks in the Kherson region. A further 26 people were injured, including one child.

Three multi-storey buildings and five private houses, an administrative building, a mobile phone mast and private cars were damaged.

Kharkiv region

Over the past 24 hours, Kharkiv and 17 other settlements in the region came under attack.

Three people were killed as a result of the shelling. A further 21 people were injured, including two children. Damage to and destruction of civilian infrastructure was also reported.

Donetsk region

According to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Russian troops killed five residents of the region on 3 June.

Three people were killed in Kramatorsk, and two more in Druzhkivka. In addition, 11 residents of the region were wounded over the past 24 hours.

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 924 strikes on 52 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

As a result of the attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and four others were wounded. There were also 51 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings and vehicles.

In Druzhkivka, in the Donetsk region, a Russian FPV drone struck an armoured vehicle belonging to the ‘Proliska’ humanitarian mission, which was being used to evacuate civilians. The driver was unharmed, but the vehicle sustained damage.
