Russian troops have attacked the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava and Donetsk regions

Over the past 24 hours and during the night, Russian forces continued to shell Ukrainian regions using drones, artillery and aircraft. The attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries, as well as damage to infrastructure and homes.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Russian forces launched 15 drone attacks on the Kryvyi Rih, Pavlohrad, Nikopol and Synelnykivskyi districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, Kryvyi Rih, Apostolove and the Hrushevskyi community came under attack. A business, infrastructure and a farm building were damaged.

A fire broke out in Pavlohrad following the attack. Cars and two private homes were also damaged.

In the Nikopol district, Russian forces struck Nikopol, the Chervonohryhorivka, Marganetsk and Myriv communities.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, the Pokrovska community came under attack. A car caught fire there.

It is also reported that on 21 May, the Russian army attacked the Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Synelnykivskyi and Nikopol districts nearly 30 times using drones and artillery. In Dnipro, 19 people were injured and high-rise buildings were damaged. In Kryvyi Rih, a business premises was damaged.

Kherson region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck 31 settlements in the Kherson region using drones, artillery and aircraft.

Six people were injured as a result of the attacks.

In Kherson, a private residential building caught fire in one of the city’s districts after being hit by a Russian drone. Firefighters extinguished the blaze whilst facing the risk of further attacks. No one was injured.

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out 813 strikes on 45 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.

There were 44 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings and vehicles.

According to regional authorities, there were no casualties.

Poltava region

Overnight, Russian drones attacked a factory in the Myrhorod district of Poltava region.

The strike damaged the factory’s equipment. There were no casualties.

Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region over the past 24 hours, Russian troops killed four civilians and wounded 11 others.

All four of the dead were killed in Druzhkivka.

In Druzhkivka, in the Donetsk region, a Russian FPV drone struck an armoured vehicle belonging to the ‘Proliska’ humanitarian mission, which was being used to evacuate civilians. The driver was unharmed, but the vehicle sustained damage.
