People have been affected by bad weather in Volyn
На Волині 29 червня через влучання блискавки постраждали семеро людей, зокрема неповнолітні. Вони знепритомніли.

This has been reported by the Volyn Regional Police.

The incident took place in the village of Ozero, in the Kivertsi district of the region. A bolt of lightning struck near a body of water, causing seven people to lose consciousness, four of whom were minors.

Police officers and paramedics arrived at the scene, and the people were taken to hospital. Law enforcement officers helped carry the people to the ambulance, interviewed witnesses and documented the damage.

Teams were also deployed in the Lutsk and Kovel districts, where buildings and vehicles were damaged by the bad weather.

The police urged members of the public to be cautious during bad weather and, where possible, to avoid travelling or being outdoors during thunderstorms and gale-force winds, and not to take shelter under isolated trees, near advertising hoardings, power lines or metal structures. If you are near bodies of water, you are advised to leave the shore immediately and find a safe shelter.
