This is reported by  ThePublic.info citing BBC. The Green Grey concert, which was scheduled to start on October 24th, has been canceled.

The causes of Diesel's death have not been disclosed. Director Viktor Priduvallov stated that it could have been heart problems. Diesel was 55 years old.

Green Grey is a symbol of progressive Ukrainian music of the late 90s - early 2000s, says media expert Denis Putintsev. According to him, it was music of European scale.

Green Grey was the first in Ukraine to receive the MTV Europe Music Awards. Twice - in 1996 and 2009.

The band was founded in 1993 in Kyiv. Their most popular tracks are "Under the Rain", "Mofaka", "Emigrant", "Stereo System".

The first real hit "Under the Rain" was recognized as the song of the year in Kyiv's "Hit Parade" for two consecutive years.

After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Green Grey refused to perform their Russian-language hits. The musicians began translating their songs from Russian into Ukrainian and English. Yatsenko helped the military, joined the Territorial Defense, and volunteered.

In 2024, Green Grey released a music video for the song "Friend". They dedicated the song to a friend who died while evacuating people from Kyiv region in March 2022.
