Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces have carried out intensive missile, air and drone strikes across Ukraine. A total of 233 combat engagements were recorded on the front line, with the highest number of assaults taking place in the Pokrovsk sector.

Day 1,552 of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 233 combat engagements were recorded on the front line over the past 24 hours.

Russian troops carried out one missile strike using 89 missiles and 89 air strikes, during which they dropped 261 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also deployed 9,975 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,898 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 58 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck six areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, one drone control centre and three artillery pieces.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Russian army carried out five air strikes using 16 guided aerial bombs and conducted 74 shelling attacks, two of which were from MLRS. One assault operation was recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions seven times in the areas of Fyholivka, Veterinarne, Starytsia, and in the directions of Okhrimivka and Ternova.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attempts to advance near Novoosynove.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defences 11 times in the areas of Drobysheve, Dibrova, Yampil, Lyman and Stavky.

In the Sloviansk direction, Russian troops carried out eight assaults in the areas of Zakitne, the Oleksandrivka district, Kryva Luka and Riznykivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, one offensive operation was recorded near Nikiforivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Pleshchiivka, Ivanopil, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka and Rusyn Yar.

The highest number of attacks took place in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 assaults in the areas of Toretsk, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka and Muravka, as well as in the directions of Kuchero-Yar, Shevchenko and Bilytske.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops attacked four times near Ternove and in the direction of Velykomykhailivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 28 attacks in the areas of Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Olenokostyantynivka and in the directions of Hirky, Novozaporizhzhia, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attempts by the enemy to advance near Bilohirya, Stepnogorsk and in the direction of Primorsky.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy attacked the Antonivsky Bridge area twice.

In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of offensive groupings being formed were detected.

The General Staff also reported that over the past 24 hours, the Russian army suffered losses of 1,020 personnel. Ukrainian forces destroyed three tanks, five armoured fighting vehicles, 47 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 14 ground-based robotic systems, 1,924 drones, 55 missiles, 302 vehicles and two pieces of specialist equipment.
