Mobilisation measures have been stepped up in Kyiv over the past few months. The number of alert teams at the capital’s territorial recruitment and social support centres has been increased by 40%.

Mobilisation measures have been stepped up in Kyiv over the last three to four months.

This was stated by Valery Kravchenko, acting deputy head of the Kyiv Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre, during an open meeting of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigation Commission.

According to him, the number of alert teams at the territorial recruitment and social support centres in the capital has been increased by 40%.

Valery Kravchenko noted that the authorised strength of personnel within the alert groups has also been increased.

“Recently, the number of alert teams has been increased. The number of staff in the alert teams has been increased. All this is happening because there is a requirement to strengthen mobilisation measures,” said Kravchenko.

He added that the reinforcement has been ongoing for the past few months and is linked to requirements to improve the effectiveness of mobilisation measures.
