The Ukrainian Construction Congress will take place in Kyiv on 23 June:
This summer, Kyiv will host one of the country’s largest industry events — the Ukrainian Construction Congress (UBC) — which will bring together leading developers, investors, architects and urban planners to discuss urban development strategies in the context of post-war reconstruction.
The event will take place on 23 June 2026 on the third floor of the Parkovy Exhibition Centre in Kyiv. According to preliminary estimates by the organisers, over 6,000 guests are expected — representatives of the property development sector, the financial sector, local authorities and relevant associations.
Agenda: from the investment climate to the European standard
The central theme of the congress is ‘Spatial planning for the future: how development strategy shapes new Ukrainian cities’. The programme covers a wide range of issues: investment trends for 2026–2027, the role of industrial parks in reconstruction processes, housing policy reforms and state programmes as a tool for development.
A separate topic of discussion will be the issue of the European gauge — an infrastructure project that is the subject of ongoing debate between supporters of accelerated European integration and those who warn against placing an excessive burden on existing transport systems.
Who will be speaking
Top executives from the country’s largest property development firms have been invited to participate in the panel discussions. Confirmed participants include Andriy Vavrysh, founder and CEO of SAGA Development; Roman Davymuka, CEO of Avalon; Andriy Semenov, head of UDP; Ivan Molchanov, co-owner of Stolitsa Group; Boris Goldenshtein, founder and CEO of the ZEZMAN holding; Yaroslav Korniyachenko, founder and CEO of Vlasne Misto; Serhiy Odarych, founder and head of ODA Group; Ihor Huda, founder and chairman of the board of directors of ‘Creator-Bud’; Oleksandr Selezniov, CEO and owner of SPATIUM Group; Ihor Ilchyshen, founder of Arha Group; and Anna Laievska, CEO of SIGMA+.
State policy issues at the congress will be presented by Nataliia Kozlovska, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, and Oleksandr Svistunov, Chief Architect of the City of Kyiv. Speaking on behalf of the financial sector will be Yevhen Metsger, Chairman of the Board of Ukrfinzhytlo — the state-owned company administering the eOselya preferential mortgage programme.
Among the invited analysts and strategists are Andriy Dligach, founder and chairman of Advanter Group; Dmytro Karpilovskyi, founder of the UkrInvestClub and professional investor; and Mark Kestelboim, CEO of WELL-BEING CONTECH. The architectural dimension of the discussions will be presented by Anna Iskierdo, creative director and co-founder of AIMM. The programme will be moderated by TV and radio presenter Oleg Borisov.
‘Creator of the Year 2026’: the first industry competition at the congress
Running alongside the business programme, the “Creator of the Year 2026” competition is being held for the first time — an initiative aimed at recognising the best solutions in architecture, property development and urban planning. Architects, developers, urban planners, landscape designers and engineers are invited to participate.
The deadline for submitting entries is 17 June. The preliminary selection will take place on 19 June, and the jury meeting on 22 June, on the eve of the congress. Further details on the terms of participation can be found on the website ubc-ua.info.
The event is organised by the DMNTR media group. Partners of the 2026 congress include Creator-Bud, Intergalbud, RIEL, A Development, Saga Development, DIM Group, UDP, Avalon, Taryan Group, Stolitsa Group, Gefest and other market players.
