Russian forces are continuing their attacks across various sections of the front line, deploying aircraft, drones and artillery. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces have repelled hundreds of assaults and struck enemy command posts.

The 1,559th day of the Russian Federation’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Defence forces continue to repel attempts by Russian troops to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory and are inflicting losses on the enemy in terms of manpower and equipment.

Over the past 24 hours, 276 combat engagements were recorded on the front line.

Russian troops carried out 86 air strikes and dropped 264 guided bombs. The enemy also deployed 8,557 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,114 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas. Of these, 55 attacks were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.

Areas around the settlements of Luzhky, Pustogorod and Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Oblast were subjected to air strikes.

Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Air Force struck three command posts and four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions

Eight combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions. Russian troops carried out 80 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, including four using multiple launch rocket systems.

South Slobozhansky direction

The enemy attacked Ukrainian military positions 12 times in the areas of Lyman, Veterinarne, Kolodyazne, Synelnykove and Starytsia.

Kupiansk direction

Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks near Shyikivka and Kupiansk.

Lymansk direction

In this sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 attempted advances near Kopanok, Novomykolaivka, Dibrova, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman and Ozerny.

Sloviansk direction

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces repelled six attacks in the areas of Kryva Luka, Kalenyky, Nykyforivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

Kramatorsk sector

One enemy attack was recorded here in the area of Tykhonivka.

Kostiantynivka sector

Russian troops carried out 14 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaivka, Pleshchiivka and Stepanivka.

Pokrovsk direction

The highest level of enemy activity was observed in the Pokrovsk direction. Ukrainian forces repelled 49 assaults in the areas of Vilne, Dorozhne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Shevchenko, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Kotlyne and Udachne.

Oleksandrivka sector

The enemy attacked twice near Tovste and Verbove.

Hulyaypilske sector

There were 43 combat engagements in the Huliaipole sector. Fighting took place in the areas of Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Novoselivka and Varvarivka.

Orikhiv sector

Russian troops made ten attempts to break through the defences near Shcherbakiv, Bilohirya, Nesterianka and Stepnogorsk.

Dnipro direction

Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack in the direction of the Antonivsky Bridge.

Volyn and Polissya sectors

No signs of Russian troops forming offensive groups in these sectors have been detected.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army suffered 1,410 casualties over the past 24 hours. The Defence Forces also destroyed four tanks, two armoured fighting vehicles, 50 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, nine ground-based robotic systems, 1,852 unmanned aerial vehicles, 384 vehicles and five pieces of specialist equipment.
