Volodymyr Zelensky signed decrees on October 14 to terminate the citizenship of Ukraine for the mayor of Odesa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, former MP Oleg Tsaryov, and ballet dancer Serhiy Polunin.

This is written by ThePublic.info, citing information Suspilne , which was confirmed by sources in the Office of the President.

According to them, decrees are not published because they contain personal data, but the head of state has already signed them.

Prior to this, Zelensky, following a meeting on the security situation in some regions of Ukraine, stated that he received confirmation of "the presence of Russian citizenship in some individuals".

"The head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Maliuk, reported on countering Russian intelligence networks and collaborators in the frontline, border regions, and in the south of our country. Also confirmed is the presence of Russian citizenship in some individuals – appropriate decisions have been prepared regarding them. The decree has been signed," he said.

Hennadiy Trukhanov, commenting on the president's decision on the air of First, stated that he would prepare lawsuits in Ukrainian courts and the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

Oleh Tsarov was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada for three convocations from the now banned "Party of Regions". In Ukraine, he was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison for separatism and collaborationism. He openly supports Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.

Sergiy Polunin — a former Ukrainian ballet artist. In 2017, he obtained Serbian citizenship, and in 2018 — Russian. He performed in Crimea occupied by Russia in 2018. He supports Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
