A terrorist attack has taken place in Bucha, Kyiv Oblast: what is known
On the morning of 23 March, two explosions involving unidentified objects occurred near a block of flats in the town of Bucha, in the Kyiv region. As a result, two law enforcement officers were injured.
This has been reported by the Kyiv Regional Police.
At around 05:35, a local resident called the emergency services on 112 and reported that an explosion had occurred on the street near her home, causing damage to the windows of her house.
Police officers, police bomb disposal experts and State Emergency Service rescuers arrived at the scene. They cordoned off the area and warned local residents of the risk of a secondary explosion. Shortly afterwards, another explosion occurred at the scene.
As a result, two law enforcement officers were injured.
The police are urging people to comply with law enforcement officers’ instructions regarding the restrictions on access and movement within the designated area.
