In Minnesota, police and the FBI are searching for 57-year-old Vensa Luther Bolter, who is suspected of attacking Senator John Goffman and his wife, and later of murdering former Speaker of the State House Melissa Gortman and her husband. Reuters reports this, citing law enforcement officials.
In an abandoned car styled as a police SUV, a manifesto and a list of about 70 names were found — among them politicians, doctors, and activists, including Ilhan Omar, Senator Tina Smith, and Governor of Volz State.
According to Reuters, Bolter presented himself as a security expert with experience in the Gaza Strip and Africa, had connections with evangelical churches, and worked in the field of public catering. In 2016, he was appointed to the Governor's Workforce Development Advisory Council.
